Joseph Henry L. Yeo (born September 7, 1983 in Manila, Philippines), better known as Joseph Yeo, is a Filipino-Chinese professional basketball player in the Philippine Basketball Association who currently plays for the Sta. Lucia Realtors. He was drafted 3rd overall by Coca-Cola in 2006.

Joseph Yeo played for the De La Salle Green Archers in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines {UAAP}. He took some of the scoring lead from the most illustrious Mark Cardona during the 2004 UAAP season. He joined the Harbour Centre Portmasters in Philippines Basketball League and led his team to its first Philippine Basketball League (PBL) crown alongside LA Tenorio, an ex-Ateneo star by winning the 2006 Unity Cup Finals against the Toyota Otis.

In 2006 PBA Draft, Yeo was drafted 3rd overall by the Coca Cola Tigers, just behind Kelly Williams and Arwin Santos. He played limited minutes as a reliever to the Coca Cola Tiger’s main man John Arigo. Joseph still manage to average 10 points per game, 4.6 rebounds per game and 1.2 assists per game in 26 minutes per contest in the elimination round of the 2006-2007 PBA Talk N Text Philippine Cup, despite the limited playing time. Notwithstanding, this did not stop the critics from calling Yeo a bust and attribute this to his lacking in size to play the No. 2 spot.

all about me!!!

This simple blog is like a pocket of secrets. It’s all about my life of course! But to be specific the time that I started to watch basketball especially PBA! I was chained by COCA-COLA “TIGERS” and STA.LUCIA “REALTORS”. I’m so amaze in their team work! The weird thing is I really hate BASKETBALL ever since….! It’s really weird but true. I really love both team not because their standings but their valued players and how they value each game. Even though that they are not so great and good for me they are totally great and fantastic. In fact, it changes my taste in watching T.V .since elementary I really love cartoons and AMAZING TWINS and no more! But when I step to college, my friend told me that basketball is fun. So, that’s the start of something new in my life. Every Wednesday to Sunday afternoon is my schedule for watching PBA. I spent my leisure time watching basketball especially when my teams are playing. I never link my eyes and focused to the game. But unfortunately my TIGERS had a bad standing, they got more lose than wins! But my REALTORS is still on the top! I really like three points shooter! Among the TIGERS in like Mark Macapagal, Alex Cabagnot, Aris Dimaunahan, and Ronjay Buenafe! In REALTORS, Joseph Yeo, Ryan Reyes, and Paolo Mendoza! Not only Mark, Alex, Aris, Ronjay,Joseph, Ryan, and Paolo. I also have some idols in some team like Sunday Salvacion of BRGY.GINEBRA, Pong Escobal and Jimmy Alapag of TALK ‘N TEXT, Romel Adduccul of PUREFOODS, Jeffrei Chan of REDBULL, and Jc Intal of AIR21. I’m so great that I have a friend like Nerissa Gamilla that tells me about these big events! I will never change my taste in basketball. But when PBA will be lost forever I thinkgonna die! Joke only!!
